South Wales
At a college campus in South Wales, plans were being developed to replace an existing grass pitch with a new all-weather sports facility for training and matches. LRL Acoustics were instructed to assess how the increase in activity could affect nearby homes and recommended straightforward ways to reduce disturbance. This gave the planning application a clear approach to managing noise from the new facility.
Surrey
A new dog daycare and exercise facility was proposed in a rural part of Surrey, with nearby homes making noise an important planning consideration. LRL Acoustics were instructed to assess how the facility would work and how activity could be managed day to day. Our report found that the proposal could protect residential amenity and provided the evidence needed to support the planning application.

Our client was converting a former pub into a commercial unit with new homes and a rear extension.
